Experienced procurement professional in the Oil & Gas and Mining & Minerals sector skilled in managing material and equipment needs for projects up to 7 billion dollars.

Currently a Senior Buyer with Aker Solutions based in Oslo, Norway working on the Reliance KD6 Expansion project procuring priority 1 equipment packages (Decanter, Plate Filter, Spiral Heat Exchanger) along with being involved in the early set up phase of the project procurement strategies. Also part of the tender team representing supply chain for the Mozambique LNG project.

In my previous position with Jacobs I handled the purchasing and expediting of materials and documentation on the Dugald River Project for commodities including: SAG & Ball Mills, Regrind Mills, Jaw Crusher, Jameson Cell worth AUD$30 million. Global strategic sourcing of key commodities using a variety of market approaches including low cost countries.

Previously worked as Project procurement Specialist with Citic Pacific Mining on the Sino Iron Project ($US 7.8 billion) based in Perth, Western Australia. Purchasing and expediting of materials and documentation for commodities including: Steam Turbine Generator, Gas Turbine Generator, Desalination Plant, and Accommodation blocks. Managing and monitoring EPC contractor’s procurement related work.

Also worked as a Project Expeditor/Buyer on the Goro Nickel Project ($3.2bn) based in Brisbane, Australia.
Expediting the timely delivery of purchased materials and documentation of commodities such as Vessels, Tanks, Pumps, Compressors, Transformers, Agitators, and Flocculant Packages. Ensuring that the supplier meets all stages of their established and agreed schedule. Also Assigned to the purchase of Electrical bulks such as cable, cable ladder and tray, junction boxes.
