Electrical & istrumentation project engineer

to understanding the Scope of Work, carrying-out duties of review of engineering deliverables, preparation of limited SOW, PRs, FAT , construction Supervision of E&I packages and systems and to deliver project in line with the execution plan.

• Receives allocated duties, FEED and studies Scope of Work to understand what is required.
• Interfaces with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.
• Prepares specifications, data sheets and undertakes calculations to meet requirements of allocated tasks.
• Co-ordinates with the Drafting Office coordinator for the checking and issuing of drawings.
• Prepares the PR, including the Bill of Materials; specifications; datasheets/drawings; inspection test requirements; and vendor data requirements for review by Senior Engineer.
• Undertakes technical evaluations of vendor offers and issue TBE to ensure PR’s technical details are satisfied.
• Undertakes pre-engineering site surveys in order to provide input information to facilitate detailed engineering. • Reports on work progress, bringing to notice potential problems or delays and recommends solutions.
• Raises/receives queries where there is lack of clarity. Interfaces with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.
• Review detailed engineering deliverables and various developed documents in order to meet the specification and international standards.
• Review the PR, including the Bill of Materials; specifications; datasheets/drawings; inspection test requirements; and vendor data requirements.
• Undertakes technical evaluations of construction works execution complying with the approved drawings, specification and standards.
• Applying QA/QC inspection and fill out the relevant documents. (SQ, NCR …. Etc).
• Provides reports on project progress against the approved plans and budgets, bringing to notice potential problems or delays and recommends solutions.
• Creates "as built" documents and provide project data registry.
• Knowledge with international standard related to E&I equipments and systems.
• Worked with international projects specifications PB (GOC), Total (OPERCOM, ICAP), Shell DEP, Technip Specs ..etc.
• Competence in using standard industry discipline related software.
