Faisal has acquired experience in environmental consulting and managing environmental compliance in oil and gas field operations, and has worked in India and Middle East.

Review readings of major sources of airborne contaminants and other substances hazardous to health and the environment.
Liaise with government authorities to facilitate investigations and reporting on environmental issues.
Direct, supervise and control the activities of assigned personnel including allocating work and determining priorities.
Establish, implement and review comprehensive audits, inspections, investigations and testing programmes.
Prepares and reviews reports of environmental monitoring and findings and makes presentations to senior management.
Prepare the annual environment protection plan and objectives and develops a tracking system.

Identify and agree appropriate environmental assessment methodologies and develop the scope of work for various environmental studies
Supervise environmental impact assessments, emission monitoring, waste handling training, and environmental education and inspection programs.
Manage and review environment audits conducted by contractors and highlight items for improvement.
Ensure proper recording of environmental data developed through monitoring and surveillance activities, records of industrial chemicals used and their consumption.
Review the daily observation reports of the environment section staff and supervise immediate action to abnormalities detected.
Organize and participates in a wide range of environmental audits, inspections, investigations and testing.
Monitor the plant environmental performance indices and KPI’s and provides specialized advice to all departments.
Engage in environment related HAZOP, HAZAN, dispersion modelling and emission inventory.
Coordinate, monitor and advise on the safe storage and treatment of hazardous wastes.
Perform supervisory functions and exercises authority at section head level as established by the delegation of authority manual.
Review and develop in-house procedures and updates them periodically.
Ensure the availability of appropriate procedures to deal with environmental.

He managed several due diligence and compliance audit engagements, including Phase I/ Phase II ESA's as per ASTM and other protocols, covering project sites in India and Middle-East for European and American clients. Faisal provided technical advise to various clients on contaminated site management/ brownfield redevelopment, including state-of-the-art soil and groundwater contamination investigation and remediation assignments.
