Professional Experience
Balfour Beatty:
E & I Superintendent / Senior Authorised Person Electrical: Operating a BBES section 8 and 9 of the electrical safe systems of work. This included isolations and issuing of permits to work on the 415V site LV system, compiling of all cable calculations and testing of completed circuits and commissioning.
Balfour Beatty:
E & I Superintendent / Authorised Person: Installation and containment/wiring of a newly built boiler house. Supervising electrical tech’s who were authorised and competent to complete their own isolations. Compiled all test results and QA packs for hand to client.;
AMEC Building Services:
Electrical Superintendent / Training Supervisor: Responsible for 10 foremen who were in charge of approximately 100 electricians during the installation of IT and electrical equipment into multiple switch rooms on all floors on Heathrow’s T5 terminal and responsible for the training of adult trainees and apprentices within my department.
Industrial Engineering Services:
E & I Inspector: inspection of all electrical/instrumentation equipment, removal and re-instatement in hazardous areas on the VAM/ETAC project at BP, Saltend. Completion of inspection reports, QA sheets and MEAPEA sheets for certification and handover.
Kvaerner Oil & Gas:
E & I Superintendent / Company Representative: Responsible for all maintenance and construction personnel maintaining all the low voltage electrical equipment throughout the platform. Installing equipment for top side installations and work orders for wellhead instrumentations, pig launch system and gas injection instrumentation. Completion of all loop sheets, electrical test sheets and QA Reports whilst maintaining all records relating to the client and company’s procedures and manuals. Liaising between onshore and offshore management on matters relating to safety, accident investigation, training and discipline also responsible crew changes and also responsible for completion and authorisation, by client of timesheet for employee payment.
