OPERATION ENGINEER AT DCU

• Validation of all appropriate operational procedures in DCU & MEROX, prepare and supervise critical operational activities: Heaters refractory dry out, degreasing of amine Regenerators, start up, chemicals and catalyst loading, and provide technical support to the shift supervisors throughout these activities.
• Validation of DCU & MEROX operational drawings (opergraphs) and tools such as blind list, LC/LO valves.
• Approval of pre commissioning and commissioning activities, such as: Box-up, OTP´s, OTS, RFSU and PSSR.
• Ensure and participate in the operator certification process.
• Attend daily and weekly meetings with Maintenance coordinator to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
• Enhance and review job safety analysis. Write daily instructions to the shift supervisors in order to optimize units in accordance with the daily scheduling plan and prepare the unit/equipment for planned maintenance activities.
• Control the daily application and compliance with refinery standards established in the area of health, safety, environment and protection by the staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the superintendent Area.
