I am a Mechanical engineer with 14 years of experience in maintenance and operation of various machinery and systems in engine room onboard ship. At present I am a Second engineer responsible for all machineries in engine room and management of all crew members.The machineries in engine room consists of two(main engine of 9000KWatt power) and four stroke (electricity generators of 960KVA) engines, oil fired water tube boilers, centrifugal purifiers, air compressors,fresh water generators,fresh water sterilizer and distributin system,sewage plant, and various centrifugal,screw,gear pumps.The system of pipelines consists of pressurised fuel,lubricating oil and air. Critical and safety equipments are tested and maintained as per routine.
