Industrial & Senior projects:
Industrial Project (Natural fiber composites): we attempted to replace the use of today's Glass fiber which is harmful to the environment and expensive with the use of natural organic fibers as reinforcements in composites , the results obtained were encouraging and will lead to further more studies in that subject.

Graduation Project (Magnesium Bio-Alloys): we wanted to replace the use of Stainless-steel used as disks in orthopedic (bone) surgery to repair broken bones, St-st. needed two surgeries one to place the disk and another one to remove that disk after the bone has been repaired, by using Magnesium which is Bio-resorbable meaning that it gets absorbed by the body eliminating the need for a 2nd surgery , non toxic and helps in bone formation in certain rates and by matching the corrosion rate of the magnesium with the rate of bone formation the healing process becomes much faster.
