Analyzing , diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and inspecting the GLO, TLO, Filter house, checking of the combustion nozzles, air flaps etc of the GE aero derivative engine (LM6000 PC)
• Participated in engine swap by GE staff on one of the aero derivative engines
• Participated in using fibre optics camera to inspect the efficiency of the engine.
• Participated in installation and commissioning of a new GE aero derivative engine.
• Ensuring that the factory floor is clean in accordance with set rule.
• Ensuring that members of staff in my department adhere strictly to safety measures in the plant using safety skills.
• Ensuring proper inspection on all auxiliaries.
• Ensuring proper panned preventive maintenance and repair of all the auxiliaries used in running the plant such as chillers, cooling towers, different types of pump ranging from Centrifugal to progressive cavity pumps and turbine pumps, Electric motors etc.
• Ensuring efficient management of man power for the operation of the plant.
• Ensuring quick response to repair jobs in the power plant to reduce downtime.
• Other jobs as may be directed by the Maintenance Manager
