Piping Stress Engineer

• 6.5+Years of experience in piping stress analysis and piping design.
• Piping Stress analysis of piping connected to static and rotary equipment.
• Pipe support and bracket design. Local stress check for dummy type support. Spring support selection and preparation of spring and strut datasheet. Preparation of vessel cleat requirement.
• Preparation of civil loading information.
• Flange leakage check.
• Equipment nozzle thermal growth calculation. WRC checks and FEM check for equipment nozzle load. Preparation of equipment Nozzle load transmittal.
• Pressure safety valve, slug and surge force calculation.
• Pipe thickness and reinforcement calculation.
• Preparation of critical line list for flexibility analysis, stress analysis package and piping stress analysis report.
• Exposure to piping stress analysis of piping connected to centrifugal compressor, pumps, air cooler, fired heater, columns, exchangers, tanks, mounded vessel, plate heat exchanger, aluminum brazed heat exchanger, thermosyphon reboiler, PSV piping system, and underground piping.
• Non critical isometrics review and IFC isometrics sign off.
• Technical areas of work include ethylene plant, jetty boil off gas recovery, hydro processing, hydro cracking, sulphur block, hydro treating, pipe rack, crude stabilization and utility piping.
• Worked on EPC and FEED projects in Oil and Gas sector.
• Good knowledge of CB&I, Fluor, Shell DEP, Total, Qatar gas and other clients standard.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Coordinate with vendors and other discipline and review documents from vendor and other discipline.
