Professional Experience
•As a Technical Authority for corrosion engineering, provides technical expertise support to operations on material selection, cathodic protection, coatings for onshore and offshore asset replacement/modification works, expansion projects.
•Advise corrosion monitoring product specification, material selection, identifying monitoring locations, selection criteria for the periodic inspection of facilities covering both onshore & offshore assets in upstream, midstream & downstream oil & gas and refinery facilities.

•Conducts failure analyses and provided reliable, cost effective, short & long term recommendations.
•Owner of subsea wet gas pipeline operating manual for corrosion monitoring & chemical management program and responsible for pigging, continuous & batch inhibition, KHI injection.
•Develops chemical testing protocol & qualify vendor through 3rd party testing labs for wet gas pipelines and focal point for chemical management team (CMT) & data base (C3amulet)
•Prepares materials selection for sour/sweet services and carry out LCC as per Shell DEP for long lead materials and detailed report for FEED
•Review and approve Cathodic Protection design, CP materials, installation & commissioning procedures as per NACE & DEP recommended practices
•Team member in monthly Asset Leadership Team, Chemical Testing & Contracts, New technology Group, Specification & Procedure Development group and Qatar Engineering Forum
•Participates in technical meeting with shareholder subject matter experts (SME’s) from Shell, ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips on critical corrosion issues and decision making.
•Participate in the preparation of the annual budgets for pipeline pigging, chemical inhibition, corrosion monitoring & mitigation
•Well conversant with ASME, API, NACE, Shell DEP, Total, DNV, NORSOK standards & practices.
