Firefighter

Looking for any entry level vacancies into the offshore industry.

Currently working as a fire fighter at Inverness Airport and also a crew manager at Inverness retained station within the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. I have held both positions now for 11 years. I am continuing ad hoc work with Weldex International in my spare time which is giving me invaluable experience in working with cranes/different types of loads.

I am a self-motivated person who likes to get a job done both professionally and efficiently when the situation arises. I have a proven track record as a team player and perform well both as a leader and as a member of a team. Due to my previous experience in both the airport and local authority fire service I have the ability to plan and execute my duties often under pressure and in extreme conditions. I have an analytical approach to finding solutions and am always keen to learn new disciplines and skills. I would gladly accept any opportunity to be trained and/or re skilled.
