Responsible for running checking assays and for laboratory analysis of ores, concentrates and intermediate products, Evaluates, and develop and manages internal and external research laboratory focused on chemicals testing.
• Mainly perform Raw materials testing Physical and Chemicals exam.
• Conducts calibration, Inspection, and Cleaning instruments on a monthly or weekly basis.
• Carrying out of monthly inventory of chemicals and instrument parts
• Responsible for updating all documents such as standard renewal
• With experience on how to handle laboratory apparatus (Gas chromatography, Coulometer, pH meter, TDS meter, Viscometer, Spectrophotometer, Centrifuges, Crude Salt analyzer, Flash point machine, hydrometer etc).
• Computer literate MS word, MS excel, MS power point
• Good in English communication both oral and written.
• Has full knowledge in crude oil analysis such as density, H2S content , API, water cut, demulsifying, emulsion, and desalination.
• Proficiency in formulation and testing of corrosion inhibitors.
• Proficiency in biocide formulation and testing in water system
• Proficiency in microbiology and preparation of culture media
