Inspection Engineer - Plant Inspector - API 510 certified

Large experience in inspection at petroleum oil & gas projects,inspect stationary equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and piping systems according to API 510, 653, 570 and issues inspection reports.

- Inspects plant stationary equipment by entering into vessels, tanks and towers, during
shutdowns/ Turn around, to check condition of equipment. Makes interpretations of findings,
analysis failure, prepares report according to API Codes and Recommended practices
· Conduct on stream inspection for equipment condition monitoring
· Inspects maintenance and capital project works being carried out in the plant, to ensure that
specified maintenance practices and procedures are being followed for welding, installation and
fabrication as fabrication codes and standard.
· Conducts periodic inspections accordance with pre-established programs and procedures
· Supervises and coordinates NDT crews and Selects appropriate NDT techniques required for
condition evaluation and interprets their results to applicable codes
· Witnessing pressure relief valves testing & calibration.
· Review welding documents as (WPS) & (PQR) as per ASME sec IX
· Witness & certificate review for welder performance qualification record (WPQ) as per
ASME SEC IX.
· Follow up implementation of welding procedure specification (WPS) in work shop and sites
· Follow up implementation of welder performance qualification record (WPQ) and issues analytic
repair percentage
· Review of material certificates as per ASME Sec II and ASTM & inspect stock materials delivered
to assurance its compliance
· Review post weld heat treatment (PWHT) procedure and its results charts or records as per
ASME Sec VIII
· Witnessing Hydro testing of piping circuits, pressure vessels & heat exchangers.
