- During the work period I’ve been involved in various new fabrications and major repairs regarding applicable QC actions,
- Welding inspection from A –Z,
- Verification of Non Destructive Testing procedures.
- Identifying deterioration / defects which could affect integrity, and
recommended repairs according to applicable codes,
- Implement strategies to prevent the same defects from re-occurring
again,
- Carry out the necessary non-destructive testing on pressure vessels and
boilers to support inspection findings,
- Compile comprehensive reports after completion of inspection
activities,
- Perform wall thickness measurements at strategic areas on the
equipment, importing / exporting the readings to PCMS for
accurate remaining life calculations,
- Witness pressure tests and ensure the tests are completed safely and
according to codes,
- Create detailed drawings of equipment / pipe lines for future inspections
and records,
- Quality control on repainted equipment for prevention of corrosion,
- Review inspection records in relation with risk based inspection,
- Manage & co-ordinate NDT technicians and hired inspectors
during shutdowns
