Subsurface Optimization Engineer:
- Development plan revision for new Joint Venture with PDVSA, Chevron, SueloPetrol and a Japanese Consortium for exploiting a 500 square km oilfield block in the Orinoco Oil Belt with a target of 400 000 bpd of extra heavy oil.
- Artificial lift design, selection and procurement for the production start up and first production stage 50Kbpd, basically progressive cavity pumping systems working with the main providers
- Reservoir delineation plan and surveillance plan work and revision with Chevron Team in Caracas and Houston offices. Revision of the surface facilities design of the wells pads, diluent distribution and oil and gas gathering systems.

- Design, revision and troubleshooting in gas lifted wells with sand and asphaltene problems, in Area 2 South oilfield on Maracaibo's Lake western Venezuela. Evaluation of oil wells for ESP completion.
- Conceptual design and execution of remedial proposals working together with the reservoir engineering team to apply coiled tubing techniques.
- Custody of two flow stations with an associated production of 18 000 barrels per day, production checking, production operations and wells activities supervision in the oilfield.
- Conceptual and basic design of improvements of surface facilities projects executed with Process and IT Teams.
- Organizing, developing and supervision of the optimization team in the Ceuta Exploitation Unit, Ceuta Oilfield on Maracaibo's Lake western Venezuela
- Custody of two flow stations with an associated production of 18 000 barrels per day, production checking, production operations and wells activities supervision in the oilfield.
- Small surface facilities projects designed and executed related to gas lift metering, distribution and optimization.
- Performing technical evaluations of the gas lifted wells of two main oilfields in order to define candidates for ESP, Rod pumping or BCP systems.
- Definition of gas lift consumption optimization in the wells analyzed.
