FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES ENTRUSTED

o Responsible to the company management to establish, implement and maintain the safety system in accordance with company safety policy, procedures and manual.
o Leadership to improve HSE implementation across the Projects, attainment of Incident and Injury Free environment and achievement of HSE compliance
o Ensure that the companies and client’s safety policy and procedure are duly complied with.
o Carry out walk around inspections and audits forming part of the team.
o Carryout on the job safety inspections to ensure the safe methods of working, safety surveys and audit on prevailing safety performance and report to the relevant levels.
o Prepare work related Risk Assessment (TRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
o Ensure that “Tool Box talk” is given to the task force on typical safety requirements, prior to commencement of such task.
o Investigate, analyze and report all the accidents/incidents occurrences and highlight the established causes of accident and the corrective measures sought towards prevention of the recurrence. A prompt and at the earliest investigation process is initiated.
o Conduct and implement HIERARCHY Control : Eliminate hazard, Reduce/Substitute hazard, Isolate hazard, Control the hazard, PPE and Discipline- enforce rules and procedure ( ERICPD)

o Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
o Diploma in Fire & Safety
o Diploma in OSHAS - Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
