Main Field Duties
•Knowledge of surface logging (Mud Logging)
•Supervise on-site geological data acquisition including mud logging services, coring services, selection of casing points, and LWD/e-line logging.
•Marking formation tops using drill cuttings and offsetting wire-line well log.
•Make a full evaluation for hydrocarbon shows while drilling “Through Samples & Gas System In Mud Logging Unit
•Correlate between drilling well & offset wells and determine the formations tops and stratigraphic markers by using all available data of drilling parameters, mud logs & composites of offsets wells
•Knowledge of wire-line logging and (LWD-MWD) operations, including the most recent equipment available. and sampling, related quality control and pressure interpretation
•Knowledge of well logs interpretation manually and by using winlog software.
•Knowledge of wire-line pressure testing (RFT-MDT- SFTT) and sampling, related quality control and pressure interpretation.
•Making an onsite Quick look evaluation for these open hole log measurements & reporting the results to the supervisor.
•Follow up the operation of drill stem test (DST).
•Interpret all types of logs & make Interpretation for composites & completions for wells.
•Drilled most Types Of Wells “ Vertical, Deviated (43˚)”

Main Office Duties
•Prepare well recommendation for Exploration & Development wells.
•Prepare the final geological well reports.
•Prepare well composite (Lithology interpretation manually and by Using Winlog Software).
•Prepare stratigraphic and structure cross section manually.
•Make quick look evaluation for logs.
•Study all the objectives of the well before drilling “ seismic, structure, geological prospects & Sedimentology”.
•Plotting pressure data and calculate the different types of fluids and different contacts.
•Performing well to well Correlation for the current well based on the open hole logs.
