Responsibilities:
 Conduct Rig Inspections and Audits using company approved audit process.
 Observed safe work practices, and present opportunities for improvement. Mentor employees and encourage hazard hunts throughout the facility.
 Provide day to day direct support and hands on assistance to rig employees to implement compliance programs and training.
 Responsible for implementing the full scope of company HS&E compliance programs.
 Conduct Environmental control assessments on hazardous wastes, emissions and spills.
 Assist in delivery of trainings and instructions for all procedures, rules and regulations in all phases of compliance.
 Conduct routine inspections on HS&E equipment such as fire fighting, spill kits, PPE and fall protection, etc.
 Collect, record, analyze and evaluate accident or near miss data to determine root and contributing causes of an accident.
 Implement post incident remedial actions (PIRA) associated with accidents or near misses.
 Timely reporting to corporate office and maintain records electronically.
 Maintain HS&E records electronically and report same to corporate office.
 PTW Duties: Development of a PTW system; Implementing lock out procedures (electrical & mechanical );Preparing and registering permits to work; Inspecting to check that defined precautions are in place prior to start of work; Monitoring compliance of workers to the PTW requirements; Cancelling or closing out of permits; Inspecting to check that work areas are left safe prior to permit cancelation; Informing operational personnel regarding the reinstating of inhibits and lock outs; Filing permits for future use and incident investigation.
