Joined Linde Gas Singapore Pvt Ltd in April 2012 as a rotating equipment engineer. Linde is a German Company having its base in more than 100 countries.
My responsibility in the plant is to sustain availability and reliability rotating equipments. Major duties includes
• Planning and Execution of Preventive Maintenance of Equipments based on the SAP Schedule in consultation with Operations department.
• Condition Monitoring of Rotating equipments through System 1 and CSI 2130 and giving recommendation for the necessary repair.
• Day to day corrective repairs and Shutdown Planning and maintenance of equipments such as Steam Turbine, Centrifugal Compressor, Reciprocating Compressor, Screw Compressor, Centrifugal Pumps, Reciprocating Pumps, Cooling Tower Fans etc.
• Root Cause Analysis of the failure and Recommendation tracking and implementation using Causal Tree, Tap root Software and Why Why analysis.
• New Equipment purchase for new projects, commissioning them with consultation of vendors.
• Annual Improvement Plan, Major and Minor Capex Management, Management of Change, Costing and budgeting of the rotating equipments repair and maintenance.
