An ambitious and conscientious Post Graduate in Business Management from Xavier Institute of Management, with dual majors in Operations and Marketing Management, looking for position as a Procurement Manager / Engineer

•Team Lead for the Designer team and also as an effective team member inspiring the team members for effective work culture. Worked as a team for Internal Auditing.
•Organizing and executing Procurement activities for materials for the company’s ongoing EPC construction projects and to meet the departmental sourcing needs.
•Preparing Purchase Orders (PO), responding to customer and supplier inquiries, reviewing requisition orders to verify accuracy, specifications and terminology and track delivery date.
•Create RFQ for the materials for projects, departments,for project materials consumables, equipments, services and sub contracts.
•Follow‐up on material delivery and documentation requirements.
•Expediting the fabricated spools and piping material to site on time by making sure that the project schedule does not get hampered and also keeping track of the shipment by coordinating with the Logistics team.
•Negotiating with the manufacturing and the logistics team for expediting job on urgent basis.
•Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.
•Preparing Bill of Quantity (BOQ) and analyzing the suitability of different components as per client specification and advising Procurement Department.
•Analyzing all the engineering data provided to the piping spool fabricators against the supplied final product and also coordinating with Site for smooth installation of piping spools.
•Coordinating with client for the piping Isometric and Spoolgen Drawing. Also coordinating with other discipline for data collection and incorporating the same into my area of activity.

•PGDM from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar with specialization in Operations Management, 2012-14 with a CQPI of 5.22/8.
•Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, Biju Patnaik University, 2009 with a CGPA of 7.81/10.

I have experience in leading design engineering teams managing overall design deliverables and constantly motivating team members towards successful fulfillment of the project requirements
I also have experience expediting the fabricated spools and piping material to site on time by making sure that the project schedule does not get hampered and also keeping track of the shipment by coordinating with the Logistics team. I also have experience negotiating with the manufacturing and the logistics team for expediting job on urgent basis.
