JOB RESPONSIBILITY
• To perform the weld visual inspection prior , during and after the welding of structural, piping components.
• To perform the all material incoming inspections and review the material test certificates.
• To carry Radiographic testing of piping, vessels and pipeline welds according to the Client requirement and approved RT procedure.
• To develop RT film and interpretation according the applicable standards.
• To carry out Penetrant testing in weld piping¡¦s, and structural welds for both normal and fluorescent techniques.
• To carry out Magnetic particle testing in weld piping¡¦s, and structural welds. For both normal and fluorescent techniques.
• To carry out Ultrasonic Testing on the parent metal to check the lamination and on the piping¡¦s, and structural welds as per the approved procedure.
• Weld fit up and welds visual inspection performed on different structural welding, piping, pipeline and offshore pipeline welding as per the applicable code requirement.
• To coordinate with Client and TPI.
• To prepare the NDT reports as per interpret results.
• To demonstrate each NDT techniques to Company QC Engineers and Authorized Inspectors prior to perform on the job and preparation of reports for the demonstration of Techniques
• To coordinate head office and report the progress and other field requirements.
• To maintain all required tools and instruments according to job requirement as well as estimate the NDT consumables required for the type of work and to prepare a request to purchase the consumables.
• To maintain calibration record registers and perform periodic verification of the calibration as per Code requirements
• To get the Radiography permit before start the radiation activities.
• To apply and obtain all applicable permits from the authorities as per the Company safety procedure.
• Supervise the NDT team during the offshore and onshore work.
Eductation
Bachelor degree from Rohilkhand University Bareilly in 2003.
