Preparation of Construction Schedule as per Contract and Project Timelines.
Updating the Schedule as per progress of the Project.
Preparation of Procurement and Submittals Schedule.
Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect.
Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
Interact with Project Manager for clarification in design/ RFIs etc.
Ensuring that Communication regarding any changes in plan have reached the Sub-Contractor’s Representatives
Monitoring and coordinating Safety and Quality Control on project by ensuring project is constructed in accordance with applicable safety regulations, reporting safety and defective work to the contractor for correction, and preparing and issuing appropriate reports for compliance documentation.
Preparing Progress reports and maintaining necessary Documentation of the project.
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on site.
Collects verified information on work results of various activities performed from the Site team. Analyze the data and update the Baseline Schedule to reflect any variance, V.O., changes in sequence / method etc.
Communicates sensitive project problems, issues, conflicts, changes and project progress to concerned sections.

I am a Civil Engineer having Three year experience in Civil Infra-Structure Field. Currently I am working as a “Project Engineer” in one of the big project “New Balakot City Development Project” related to infra-structure field located in a very austere zone of Pakistan. In this Project we cover different fields of Civil Constructions e.g. Earth Work, Roads, Drainage System, Water Supply & Sewerage System, Bridge, Culverts, Retaining Structure etc.
Now,I really want to work in oil and gas industry,so that i enhance my knowledge of field as well as in this way i well know the importance of a civil engineer in petrochemical industry, also I share my experience to improve the quality of work.
