Plan, develop, and implement strategy for HR management and development.
Manage the human resource function and provide leadership and direction in the development and implementation of departmental short and long-term plans.
Develop HR policies and procedures as required, and ensure implementation of sound practices in the area of employee relations, organizational development, recruitment and selection, personnel administration, discipline, grievances, training & development, succession planning, performance management, morale and motivation, pay and conditions.
Ensure that reward systems and remuneration policies, are internally equitable as well as externally competitive, and operate cost effectively.
Promote staff growth and development through proper performance management and capacity building initiatives.
Management of human resource information system and provision of staff-related information needed to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Contribute proactively to developing organizational culture that is in line with the company mission and vision.
Develop and ensure proper implementation of administrative polices procedures and programs.
Ensure that internal controls are in place to adequately protect company assets and records.
Ensure that administrative functions are properly executed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Develop and ensure implementation of local procedures and controls for general office and administrative expenses.
Ensure that the company site and employees are protected against any hazards.
Ensure that the use of company resources is cost effectively used and a good insurance policy for company vehicle and trucks is maintained.
Assist the General Manager in the other administrative duties as and when required.
