Professional Experience
Monitoring and Supervising Fabrication, Installation, Alignment and Inspection activities of process structure, steel structure, Columns and ducts etc.
Check dimensions and thickness of members to tally with approved plans;
Check physical defects for any heavy rusting, pitting, warping and bending;
Controlling man power, lifting equipment, site instruction to sub-contractors for modification work as per drawing.
Assisting Project Engineer for preparation of As built drawing commissioning, punch list issued and arranging daily work permit for working site based on progress from operation department .welding works Carry out fit-up inspections (edge preparations eg. beveling, gaps between welded components within tolerances, provision of proper backing for welding, etc);
To plan the day to day activities for welding and Shop Inspection.
Handling reports and related Datas.
Knowledge of Principle and Practices in the related discipline.
Strong Analytical, Project Management and problem solving skill.
Checking Bolting works Ensure correct type, size & grade of bolt, ensure holes drilled within tolerances, supervise installation and tightening (eg. high strength friction grip bolts to be tightened using appropriate method and tightened to correct torque.
Ensuring correct Assembly / Installation as per approved drawings and procedures.
Visual welding inspection in fabrication shop.
Inspect after welding works are completed to ensure correct weld type, length & size (eg. throat thickness for fillet welds).
Preparation of daily progress report (DPR).
Handling in Progress inspection of Structural & Fabrication Shop Including Material Traceability.
Follow site safety rules, practices and assist site team in promoting a culture of safety on the site.

Passed BE Mechanical Engineering with76% of First Class with distinction in 2008
