A 7 week internship in Advanced Professional Practice in Pharmaceutical Technology and Drug safety, manufacturing of tablets, capsules, Research and Development, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, microbiology testing, water purification & HVAC systems.
General Production Plant:
Tablet manufacturing (sieving-mixing-granulating-compressing) as well as in-process testing (weight variation test-friability-hardness-disintegration)
Capsule manufacturing (physical testing)
Research and Development (R&D Pilot Plant): manufacturing of a trial batch
Checking the physical testing and evaluation of results.
Quality control laboratory: Chemical testing of raw materials - and finished products.
Microbiological laboratory: testing of water - finished products- and environment testing.
Maintenance Department: purified water treatment - compressed air - Air handling units/ HVAC systems.
Total quality management/ cGMP, Quality Assurance.
