QA/QC (MULTI) ENGINEER

Seeking challenging career as QA/QC Engineer / QA/QC Inspector (Welding & Painting) in the field of Oil & Gas Construction/ Inspection and/or Services in mechanical discipline, an ambience conducive to career advancement and professional growth

 More than five years experience in Welding, production and Quality Control out of which last two years experience in UAE
 Experience in New Construction of Offshore Jack up Rigs, Process Piping, and Structural fabrication ,steel production etc.
 Preparing and implementing Inspection Test Plan and Method Statement for various activities involved in the construction as per Project Specification & Relevant International Standards and getting approvals from the client.
 Performing Welding Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) for new WPS and in case of variation in the essential variables with existing PQR, as per international standards and additional requirement of client.
 Preparing Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) with relevant qualified PQR for the particular projects as per ASME SEC IX, AWS D1.1, AWS D1.2,BSEN 288-3 etc...
 Performing Welder Qualification Tests for various welding procedure specifications as per ASME section IX , AWS D1.1, BS EN 287-1 etc.
 Coordinating with Material Controller for Incoming Inspection of various steel materials, consumables, tools and equipments etc. with relevant documents like material test certificates. If required performing mechanical test and chemical analysis in order to confirm as per Project specification and Relevant International Standards.
 Carrying out the welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant engineering drawing, international standard and project specification.
 Cordination,Witness,evaluation and interpretation of NDT techniques like RT, UT, MT, PT.
 Coordinating with client inspection department at various stages of fabrication activities and getting approval.
 Conversant with International Codes like ASME section II, V, VIII, IX, ASME B31.3,AWS D1.1, ASME B 31.1 ,BS EN 287-1 , BSEN 288-3 etc.
 Maintain the latest version of all contracts documents, drawings, specifications and International standards.
 Monitoring Painting Inspections (Painting & Blasting), Insulation as per specifications

BGAS-CSWIP Painting Inspector - Grade 2
 NDT level 2   in MPI,RT,UT & LPT

