Versatile ACCA qualified management consultant with 5 years experience in a Big 4 firm and 2 years in quality assurance. I have experience of internal audit, risk management and programme management within oil and gas, resources and public sector.

As a Manager within Advisory Risk Services, my responsibilities included coordinating, leading and supporting internal audits and other engagements, including:
• Managing client budgets and resourcing, with direct management of the internal audit team, providing on-the-job coaching and performance feedback
• Reporting to senior management and C-suite executives as well as follow up of outstanding recommendations, and developing the internal audit status report for presentation at the Audit Committee
• Holding discussions with key personnel to understand and identify key risks, associated internal controls and risk mitigation strategies, and defining and documenting internal audit scopes
• Conducting walkthroughs for each area of scope to confirm understanding of key internal controls and developing/reviewing consequent work programmes (risk and control matrix) and workpapers
• Identification of areas of improvement, and assisting in the delivery and presentation of recommendations and output through a clear and concise reporting format, including gathering of management comments

I joined Citigroup as a Graduate Management Associate, and completed rotations through keys business areas including in Credit Policy, Financial Control, Treasury, Product Management, and Operations departments.

Upon successful completion of the programme, I took a role as Risk and Control Analyst in Quality Assurance.
