• Provide inductions / orientations to new comers (Employees) and visitors.
• Develop, implement and evaluate health and safety programs and strategies to attain the ultimate goal of Zero Incidents.
• Carry out daily and weekly safety meetings with the head of departments, client.
• Collect samples of water for analysis; measure physical, biological and chemical workplace hazards.
• To prepare various company reports- daily, weekly and monthly or as required by the company.
• Routine checks on all the lifesaving equipment’s present in the worksite. Ensure that all the equipment’s are serviced and ready to use.
• Carry out regular hygiene & sanitary inspections in the living quarters and restaurant.
• Review, discuss and implement company’s policies and procedures in the workplace.
• Investigate health and safety related complaints, spillage of hazardous chemicals, outbreaks of diseases or poisonings and workplace accidents.
• Implement Permit to Work system and Job Safety Analysis in the workplace and conduct spots checks.
• Inspect workplace to ensure that equipment, materials and production processes do not present a safety or health hazard to employees or to the environment.
• Ensure Fire and Safety plans are maintained and updated.
• Provide consultation and conduct regular training programs for employees to develop better understanding and awareness regarding issues of health, environmental protection and workplace safety.
