Procurement Specialist

A Computer science graduate with more than eight years of experience in supply-chain operations, specialized in customs clearance and procurement. And seeking for a position in Supply-chain, Marketing and management fields.

Position: Import/Export Specialist. (Supply-Chain Department)

Main responsibilities:
i- Collect the correct documents that needed to obtain the clearance process from out side country.
ii- Obtain exemption letter from clients and Ministry of energy and mining at fastest period to avoid pay any storage or demurrage fees caused by delay.
iii- Follow up with agents in order to achieve the clearance.
iv- Solve any issues may face the clearance process from starting up to receive the shipment in the store.
v- Update other departments with the shipments status to ensure best communication between departments, for best job achievement.

i- Receive the orders from the fields and obtain their request immediately.
ii- Achieve the quotations from the suppliers implementing professional ways.
iii-Accurate and timely preparation of Purchase Orders. - Tracking and update of Open Purchase Orders from approval through to closure. - Immediate reporting of non-conformances with follow up until resolved.
iv- Ensure all the items needed received in the store(at short time and low cost).
v-Product Line on time delivery - Purchase Order accuracy - Non-acknowledged Purchase Order line reporting - Past Due Purchase Order reporting - Shipping cost.

Special Achievement within Schlumberger overseas Company:
A critical and big problem caused by requester who placed orders in the system under wrong consignee address, which led to much delay in the clearance process and takes more long time for correction. I solved this problem by allocating various Borgs for each segment.
