Joined Adani Port Limited, (Adani group of companies, turnover of Rs 40,000
crores, highest forex earner in India (in private sector), State of art edible oil
refinery at Mundra, provider of complete logistics solution to cargo movements
through it’s most advanced & mechanized state of art Port at Mundra.) as
Junior Officer (Marine Control room as well as Jetty Operations – at Marine
Terminal) and in April’2003 promoted to full fledge Marine Officer. Promoted
as Sr. Officer in April 2008, had a grade change as an executive in 2009 &
presently working as Asst. Manager, Control Towers & Terminals Operation In
charge, Dy. PFSO & Safety Coordinator for the Marine Department.
Job Profile
Posted at Gujarat Adani Port Limited, Mundra. Gujarat, deals with port users,
Contractors, Govt. Authorities, cargo movements, Vessel operation
planning/monitoring/performance analysis, Documentations, Customer
services, Logistics, Berth planning , MIS etc.
Assisting in handling of various equipment’s and assets like Speed Boat, STS
Fenders, Navigational buoys. Leading light structures SPM accessories.
Assisting in SPM Operations for mooring /un-mooring, bridge watch as Mooring
Master.
Assisting in communication/correspondence with various Govt. /Private
agencies.
Assisting in all activities related to ISPS, NSPC, IMS, surveys, drills, and
exercises.
Maintenance dredging care for jetty face dredging as per soundings required.
Procuring of new equipments and billing for services being rendered by the
contractors as per work orders issued.
Assisting in Dry Docking of Harbor Fleet.

Educational Qualifications

.Mooring Mater Certificate Issued by Harbor Master-Port HOD - Marine.
· Certificate of Proficiency (Radio Telephone General Cert) issued by
G.O.India, Ministry of Telecommunication)
· Certificate of Proficiency (GMDSS Cert) issued by G.O.India (Ministry of
Telecommunication)
· STCW 95 Courses (Advance Fire Fighting, Survival at sea, Proficiency in
Medical First Aid, Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities)

Previous Work Experience (Sailing & Shore)

Worked with Essar steel/Shipping, Surat, Hazira from 1993 to
2001Joined Essar floating staff as a Radio cum Jr. Officer on board Mini
Bulk carriers engaged on Indian coastal/FG shipping/Hazira anchorage
lighterage operations.

Worked in Essar hazira radio room and on jetty as an officiating
Berthing master.

Having a good knowledge of vessel navigating in magdalla (Hazira)
channel and the anchorage area.

Maintained bridge navigation watch keeping.

Having a good knowledge of handling a twin screw vessel putting her
alongside berthing/de berthing at jetty as well as in mid sea to bigger
vessels.
