To obtain a Safety Officer position in an Organisation by applying my knowledge & experience to train the workforces on safe work practice in the worksites and promoting zero accident culture in the workplaces.

Roles performed:
• Working closely with construction manager and contractors to ensure site’s safety
• Carrying out routine monitoring of the construction site to ensure safety measures are in place.
• Coordinating meetings on safety measures and conducting worksite inspections.
• Conducting in-house training sessions on site that included hazard assessments and orientations.
• Collecting statistical data and reports.
• Conducting Investigation on all injuries, accidents and near misses. Identifying the causes and advise on any improvement in safety standards that need to be made
• Assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of Safety and Loss Prevention Program including Safe Work Practices/Safe Job Procedures and the Site Emergency Response Plan
• Identifying and reviewing various health and safety concerns specific to the work site and ensure construction site activities do not put non-construction site people outside of the site at risk
• Maintaining an inventory list of equipment purchased
• Establishing inspection schedules for all tools, major equipment, lifting devices and mobile equipment to ensure safe operating conditions and compliance with current regulations

• Bachelor’s Degree – Fire and Industrial Safety – Annamalai University (Currently Studying)
• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering - by AIIMS (Distinction)
• Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical and Electronics Engineering – by Anna University (Course completed)
• AJS Nidhi Higher Secondary School (Chennai) HSC – 70.5%

• NEBOSH International Technical Certificate in Oil & Gas Operational Safety, by SHEilds U.K (Currently Studying)
