Job Description:
1-Coordinate with Rig Manager and QHSE Department involving QHSE concerns
2-Consult, advise and direct Drilling Operations in matters relating to QHSE matters
3-Liaison with Operator in regards to QHSE matters
4- Maintaining and updating Evacuation Plans, Procedures and Measures
5- Prepares agenda for weekly safety meeting
6- Participate in incident investigation
7- Oversee implementation of STOP program
8- Oversee implementation of operational systems and procedures to include:
.Permit to work system
.Lock-Out / Tag-Out system
.MSDS
.Lifting Equipment
.PPE system
.Drop Objects
.H2S Awareness
.Confined Space Entry
9- Conduct inspections as per the requirements of the monthly HSE schedule
10- Conduct HSE drills and training

1-Promote health and safety within the organization and develop safer and healthier ways of working. Application of programs to remove the hazards from the work place and to correct unsafe work practices.
2-Make sure that personal protective equipment is being used in workplaces according to regulations
3-Help supervise the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes and recommend remedial action
4-Coordinate emergency procedures
5-Communicate frequently with management to report on the status of the health and safety program
