REFRACTORY ENGINEER

Inspection of refractory application of Steel ladle, hotmetal ladle and BOF converter (130T).

· Monitoring and online maintenance of steel ladle, converters includes gunning, hot patch, Sleeve changing and other miscellaneous refractory jobs.

· Maintaining Steel Plant - Ladle, Tundish, Walking Hearth Beam Furnace, Flu Gas Duct & Stack.

· Having comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Refractory Brick work, lining, plastic and ramming mixes together with installation techniques like Casting, Gunning, Hand / Ram packing etc.

· Familiar and handled Ceramic fibre blanket & Ceramic Fibre module lining work.

· Involved construction and Inspection work for Fireproofing and Insulation work during shutdown.

· Having good knowledge in Refractory lining and Inspection work for, Steel Plants.

· Extensive experience in preparation of site facilities, manpower setup, handling inspection work, preparation and submission of required documents & reports and Execution of shutdowns.                                                                                                           

· Strong experience and advanced proficiency in liaising with and co-coordinating contractors.          

· Experience in managing site safety and quality control
