MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR / Rotating Equipment Engineer

1. Perform, Develop and continuously evaluate Maintenance Plans Dynamic and Static Equipment installed in Gas Injection Plant High Pressure (PIGAP II), Monagas State, Venezuela. - Safety leadership in personal, employee, contractor, and community safety. - Ensuring that maintenance activities follow applicable codes, standards, manufacturers' recommendations and PDVSA policies and procedures. - Monitoring results of diagnostic programs for long term reliability of the mechanical equipment. - Providing support to the Maintenance & Reliability team to develop and implement maintenance schedules, defect elimination reviews and maintenance procedures. - Management of Change compliance and documentation for mechanical maintenance activities. - Competency assessments and training programs for maintenance technicians. - Leadership role in the planning, scheduling and budgeting of daily maintenance activities including turnarounds. - Direct supervision of mechanical maintenance contractors. - Coordinating with warehouse personnel for critical maintenance parts inventories. - Cost management for all maintenance activities. - Daily maintenance use of SAP. Validation of new notifications, planning support of new work orders and closure of completed work orders. - Coordinate and plan the implementation of activities of the discipline in the Shut Down Senior Mechanical Facility. 2. Execute predictive inspections to equipment installed on the premises dynamic PDVSA. - Technical assistance and implementation of thermographic inspections, videoscopic or Boroscope, ultrasonic, etc, in rotating and reciprocating equipment. - Technical and vibration analysis performance rotating equipment. - Reviews technical recommendations, quotes for spare parts, overhaul, etc and give feed back to Engineering. - Reviews equipment failure analysis reports comprising of technical views of operations and maintenance personal on chronic problems and recommends remedial action to avoid such problems. - Follows up condition monitoring of rotating equipment and advise the Vibration Engineers to recommend corrective action.
