i have been working for Zac Construction company for the past 7 years now as a procurement officer. My duties were but not limited to:
. Overseeing the procurement department
• Managing suppliers and doing new supplier investigations
• Making decisions on what to be bought and from which suppliers
• Negotiating best prices for the organisation and making sure we create a good relationship with the suppliers
• Processing of fuel and all lubricants orders
• Managing shortfalls and expedite assistance as required
• Liaising with store keepers at various sites to monitor stock levels
• Creating and managing purchasing orders
• Liaising with accounts department to ensure that there are no outstanding payments to services providers and suppliers
• Working hand in hand with the Managing Director on making decisions
regarding purchasing of materials in order to minimise company expenditures

I am an assertive and hard working man holding CIPS International
Certificate in Purchasing and Supply from the Institute of Development
Management, A Diploma in Networked Office Computing and a Certificate in ICDL. I am currently working at Zac Construction as a Procurement
Officer. I am determined to learn new things and do my best to create and
enhance value of your organization.
