Sr. Electrical Technician

Seeking a challenging position that lets me prove and exploit my diversified knowledge, skills and experience in the field of Electrical Technology/engineering.

I am working with OMV (Pakistan) as an Electrical Technician. Area of Responsibilities includes Supervise/Plan the day to day operation and execution of preventive, corrective, breakdown maintenance and modification activities related to electrical plant and equipment (power generation, distribution system, switchgears, control panels, motors, UPS, variable frequency drives soft starters, Battery& battery charger and ensure facility system availability for smooth operation and safety critical equipments are maintain in a safe and efficient manner. Investigation and troubleshooting of problems and implementation of Company’s procedures and policies. Supervise all maintenance work carried out in the electrical workshop and ensures availability and operability of all workshop machines and equipment in efficient manners.

DAE (Electrical Technology) in 2001 from Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore
FSc. (Pre-Engineering) in 1998 from Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Lahore
Matric (Science) in 1996 from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore

1-Two years Apprenticeship with FFBL Karachi
2-Essentials HSE training courses from OSLAP.
3-Techniques for Mounting and Dismounting of bearing by SKF BEARING
4-Fire Fighting Training by civil aviation authority Hyderabad Pakistan
5-Permit to work system (PTW) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) by PETRONAS.
6-Authorized charge man from Govt of Sindh Sukkur region.

 Ensure facility system and safety critical equipments are maintain in a safe and efficient manner and provided supervisory support for reliability and integrity management.
 Supervise/perform scheduled maintenance activities (corrective and preventive) on variety of electrical equipments (generators, motors, VFD, soft starter, UPS etc.)
 Supervise subordinate /contractor jobs and ensure compliance with safety requirements, timely manner and as per standards procedures.
 Prepare pertinent electrical maintenance procedures and required task risk assessment for critical activities, and then ensure that job is carried out strictly in accordance with SOP.
 Coordinate with operations and other disciplines to plan the safe and successful maintenance of equipment and Facilities.
 Participate in carrying out the annual turnaround (ATA) or major equipment turnarounds in the Plant.
 Supervising and coordinating the evaluation of machinery operation and condition through maintenance, inspection and testing as well as critical device function test (CDFT)
