The following responsibilities are also included:

1- Collecting of the rock cutting which is geologically described and examined for any oil shows.
2- Monitoring gas hydrocarbon, these gases are detected as a total value, then are analysed to their component.
3- Inform all relevant personnel of all pits gain, losses, gas/oil shows, drilling breaks, wash outs anomalies of drilling parameters that could be out of the set ranges.
4- Monitoring all hole and pipe displacements and all trips in or out of the hole.
5- Generate the mud logs and graphs during the drilling of the well.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

- Very good user for Microsoft office package (Word, Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access).
- Experienced in Sperry Sun software INSITE (Hydraulics and Drilling Engineering Software).
- Excellent use of MS Windows
- Good use of Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat writer
- Excellent internet surfing and searching skills
- Excellent readiness to learn any new software quickly

September, 2007 – Present Senior data Engineer Geologist, working for, BG, Rashpetco (BG's joint venture) & Petrobel in the Mediterranean Sea, for Centurion in Nile Delta, for Qarun& Khalda in the Western Desert also worked in super rigs, offshore in semi sub & jack up rigs.
-Worked in Exploratory and Development wells. I also worked on deepwater and HPHT wells, and on both vertical and directional wells.
- Some examples of the deep water/HPHT wells I worked on were T-13 & T-15 with Petrobel& Notes- 1 with BG on the jack up rig Endure& Ralph Coffman.

- I have been working on the Amirante semi-submersible rig in the Mediterranean with Rashpetco (BG's joint venture) , the rig is working on deep water wells, doing both drilling and work over/completion operations.

-Performed surveillance duties, collection, analysis and description of drilling cuttings, preparation of lithological strip log, basic data monitoring and acquisition on computerized IRIS units.
