Duties:
•Locate points of potential Land sliding in Lebanon on Google Earth maps and GIS.
•Studying the located point taking into consideration stratigraphy, structures, and sedimentology
•Providing research team with expert advice on the Geology of Lebanon.
•Defining all rock types and giving them friction, cohesion, and unit weight values all over Lebanon.
•Arranging field trips to visit locations and giving a final decision about each of them.

•Digitizing geologic maps found at AUB using GIS

Developing a database for the Ministry of Energy and Water for all private and public water wells in Lebanon, funded by the UNDP.


Duties:
•Assigning periodic meetings with municipalities to inform them about our mission.
•Visiting well locations using maps from the Ministry, and correcting their locations.
•Filling out a form for each well (Public and Private).
•Comment on the geology surrounding each well.
•Reporting weekly details of our field work
•Licensing and Examining locations, where some customers supposed to drill new wells, to detect environmental affect.
•Determining the underground water level in all of Lebanon.
