Assistant Driller

• Responsible to perform operations carried out in Oil and gas Drilling and Production sites such as Arranging BHA ,Fishing tools and connecting subs, Drilling, Casing, Coring, Cementing, Preparing Trip Sheets and Kill Sheets , Moving and building Of RIGs, Mud Pump Repair and Maintenance, Pipe Tally etc.
• Able to handle the daily management of oil and gas production operations and help to maximize profitability by lowering operating expenses.
• To work with other professionals, such as geologists and geoscientists, to monitor drilling progress, oversee safety management and ensure the protection of the environment
• Capable for planning of wells and supervising the drilling crew on site.
• RIG where I had worked are -2000HP TDS Tesco, 1500HP TDS Tesco,1000 HP TDSTesco and 1000HP Kelly RIG.
• Experience of HPHT and deep wells .
• Operate and maintain the rig mud system including the mud pumps.
• Able to raise and lower tubular strings in a controlled manner and by monitoring the various gauges closely make adjustments as conditions require.
• Run or assist in running various special tools for work-over and well drilling procedures.
• Maintain and update running hours of equipments and maintain all technical data sheets.

• Writing stop cards about unsafe conditions and facts.
• Taking prompt corrective action and advising management accordingly with regard to unsafe and unhealthy procedures, methods, facilities, equipment and substances.
• Ensuring that all work, for which I have a supervisory responsibility, whether executed by employees , is carried out with full regard to the applicable HSE procedures.
• Ensuring that safety and emergency equipment, whether portable or installed, is maintained in a safe operable condition and that such equipment is correctly used.
• Raisins safety points and safety issues in daily safety meeting.
