MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Looking for a challenging and demanding position in the field of engineering in a growth oriented Mechanica

• Schedule and control the erection of process piping, pipe supports etc.
• Daily work and manpower allocation to different disciplines under mechanical work scope.
• Monitor daily work progress and prepare report.
• Checking the clashing of piping with other lines, equipments and structures.
• Coordinate with the lead engineers to resolve the interference by modifying the line routing and getting the approvals from process department and the client for making changes on P&ID’s and related documents.
• Study and detailing of equipment and piping layout to concerned supervisors.
• Assists the lead engineer in preparing the monthly progress report.
• Coordinate with respective site supervisors concerning their daily material and equipment requirements.
• Distribution of manpower and work items to different disciplines as per project schedule.
• Classify, compile and prepare the bulk MTO’s based on its sizes and the commodities.
• Flow checking of isometrics.
• Check and inform lead engineers about interference with other lines/equipments/ structures on site and resolve it by modifying or rerouting.
• Coordination with inter-department for revised P&ID’s, vendor drawings, equipment data sheets, layouts etc.
• Obtain the approvals of process department and client for making changes on P&ID’s.
• Preparing the monthly progress report by reviewing the completed isometrics.
• Update and maintain the latest/revised technical documents/drawings received from the piping department for site office reference.
• Hydro testing of pipelines.
