To gain more experience as an Assistant Driller with a successful international drilling company and eventually take on roles with more responsibility.

I am a U.S. citizen with 6 years experience working on Drilling Rigs. I have worked my way up from Floorhand to Assistant Driller, and in pursuit of furthering my career, have financially self sponsored myself in acquiring all of my necessary OPITO offshore certificates. Currently I am an Assistant Driller in Kurdistan, Iraq and am residing in Southern Thailand

Assistant Driller- Loading and unloading trucks-Signaling crane-Making connections-Tripping pipe in and out of the hole-Keeping an accurate count of all Drill Pipe, Drill Collars and Subs in and out of the hole-Break down and make up BHA -Ensuring choke manifold and BOP are lined up correctly per operation-Performing regular maintenance on rig mud pumps-Filling out kill sheet and IADC book tourly-Holding safety meeting and completing JSA and Work Permit before each job-Ensure that all Roughnecks are following company policies regarding safety at all times.

Currently I am an Assistant Driller in Kurdistan, Iraq and am residing in Southern Thailand. The last two deep wells I drilled with Nomac were both in excess of 25,000 feet, and set U.S. records for total depth. I have drilled for oil in North Dakota, gas in Colorado, and both gas and geothermal wells in Utah. I am a hardworking and dependable individual who understands the value of collaborating my efforts with those on my team in order to successfully complete each job. I am well versed in all safety measures, and am sure to follow through with every precaution to ensure everyone’s safety. I also believe that my international living and working circumstances over the years have granted me the advantage of cultural awareness and adaptability in acclimating to any situation.
