Have worked as a Drilling Engineer with Essar Oil Limited Durgapur, India from May 2013 to September 2014 where I was involved in Well Planning, Reporting and AFE Monitoring.
• The project name was Coal Bed Methane Raniganj, where we were extracting Methane gas from Coal Seams.
• Raniganj is the name of the area so the coal seams are named after the place Raniganj and the Field name is Raniganj Block where we have 6 coal seams named RN1, RN2, RN3, RN4, RN5, RN6 out of which RN1 and RN2 is the most productive.
• Raniganj has certified recoverable resource of 558 (bcf) of gas. It has current test production 25000 scm/day of gas from 20-22 wells.
• The Drilling operation was Normal Drilling.
• The wells are 1800 to 2000 meters deep.
• Pressure in the well is Normal.


Have worked as a trainee under the guidance of an Executive Engineer for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation India, Where I had many field visits and a project on Casing Design as well.
• I have worked in Cambay Basin whose Area is 53,500 Sq. Km. (including 2,500 Sq. Km. in the Gulf of Cambay).
