process engineer

• Technical review and evaluation of material & heat balance, PFD & P&ID
• Review the process design package (PDP) comply with BEDD, approved code & engineering standards
• Prepare scope of work, manhour and cost estimates for proposals
• Liaise with other departments, clients, vendors, subcontractors and third parties.
• Overall responsible for the manhour & schedule monitoring and control and quality of the work produced.
• Organize and maintain project technical filing and archiving
• Conduct meetings at regular intervals with team members to review progress and share the lesson learnt & typical issues
• Develop Pre/Commissioning manual and Operating manual
• Technical review of design package of equipment as per client requirement
• Verification of line sizes and pump hydraulic calculations
• Development of process data sheet of equipments, piping accessories and instruments
• Preparation of line index and tie-in list
• Calculation of control valve, PSV sizing and orifice etc.
• Line sizing using the pipe flow software
• Control valve and RV sizing using the standards
• Orifice sizing
• Heat exchanger and pump calculations
• Awareness of ASME, API, ISA standards
• Effective communication skills in English
• Leadership & Team building abilities
• Proficient in Ms Office (MS Word and MS Excel)
• Microsoft Project
• Familiar with Autocad application
