-Material identification and characterization. Basic identification of the polymers, processing additives and pigments, paints , coatings, films, oils, elastomers, composites and thermosets.
-Utilizing FTIR spectroscopy in the identification of the unknown materials, purity analysis.
-Analysis of the filler content, ash content, carbon content, moisture content using thermo gravimetric analyzer.
-Identification of the melting point, glass transition temperature and oxidative induction time of the polymers and other raw materials using differential scanning colorimeters.
-Conducting flammability test and limiting oxygen index test for the analysis of flammability behavior of the materials.
-Grafting of Maleic anhydride in polymers.
-Perform QC sample analysis
-Testing of raw materials and the finished products and update test result to Electronic Quality Database.
-To perform repeatability whenever abnormal or typical results were obtained
-Troubleshooting problems and performing periodic maintenance of instruments.
-Revaluating & updating Standard operating procedures, work instruction & test methods
-Frequent checks on calibration & preventive maintenance of every instrument -Helping technical manager on reports, such as creating NABL documentations & calibration reports
-Calculating measurement uncertainty for the each test method.
-Involved in documentation of ISO & NABL audit for the lab accreditation.
-Involved in method development and product development.
