Professional Experience
Qualified Electrician with work on major construction sites as well as industrial and residential sites. Served 4 year recognised apprenticeship with GEC. Worked with Fugro Airborne division collecting data and repairs on data acquisition system in numerous countries. Joined PPT as QA/QC inspector on CP installations on 600km pipeline. Conducted DCVG surveys, PCM surveys, pipe location, repair and install transformer rectifier units, soil surveys, ground bed surveys and installation. Design, fault finding and repair on countries major oil and water pipelines as well as tank farms. Took over procurement for all projects and most recently concentrating on design and project management for new contracts.
Eductation
High School, Technical College with National Technical Certificates in Electrical engineering level 2, 3 and 4. NACE Cathodic Protection 1 and 2. NACE CIP level 1
Certification
Electrical (Engineering),Registered installation electrician, NACE CP 1 and 2, NACE CIP 1. Courses in Project Management, Hazard identification and risk assessment, Legal liability, Helicopter underwater escape training, fire fighting and first aid certificates held.

I work well alone or part of a team, with or without supervision. I hold a South African and United Kingdom passport which allows me to work in many countries. I have travelled and worked extensively with peoples from varying backgrounds and nationalities. I have a broad knowledge of corrosion and the rectification thereof as well as electrical knowledge. On a personal level I keep fit with jogging and enjoy scuba diving.
