Repair and Maintenance Manager

Looking for a Management position where I can effectively utilize my expertise in Repair and Maintenance, prefereably overseas.

I have worked in the Oil industry for almost 30 years most recently working for the past 19 years for Halliburton Sperry-Drilling Services involved in the repair and maintenance of Directional Drilling Tools for offshore use.
I can work well as team member with professional, trades, and other semi-skilled workers, but also have the ability to work independently, using my own initiative!
I am familiar with office procedures, administration and reporting functions. And I am able to use personal computers, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel) and SAP.

I have the ability to plan and organize projects by following set procedures, adhering to safety and quality guidelines and communicating effectively with work associates, suppliers and contractors.
I am a hardworking; a team member who can ensure work is completed in a timely and friendly manner. I learn new skills quickly and help other staff wherever needed. Managers have trusted me with considerable responsibility as a result of my demonstrated performance at work.
For the last four years I have been working and living in Thailand on international assignment; I moved here from Singapore where I spent three years working as a Technical Instructor. I was brought into Thailand to improve our quality and safety. I currently look after a number of rigs for Thailand / Bangladesh and Japan; we provide drilling tools for a number of customers where we pride ourselves in providing high quality tools in a safe and efficient manner. The Directional Drilling Department has currently set a record of Zero NPT for over 10 months for all Rigs.

Currently working in Thailand on a rotational contract 30/30 as the Directional Drilling Maintenance Manager, have been working in Thailand for the last five years, prior to Thailand I lived and worked in Singapore for three years as a Directional Drilling R&M Instructor.
