Logistics & procurement Management

• Experienced in private companies & INGO Logistics Management including procurement planning, stock and asset management, security, transport and fleet management and use of communications equipment.

Managing team of Procurement and logistics assistants (in field and HO), allocating tasks according to specialist areas, monitoring performance and providing ongoing training in roles and procedures.
• Recruitment and training of all procurement staff
Planning and Budget monitoring
• Assisting Area Coordinators and Program Managers with procurement planning and grant spend outs.

Liaison with other departments
• Regular meetings with senior management team and heads of operations department to coordinate operational strategy for Sudan program.
• Providing technical advice on procedures, prices and goods and service specifications to all program staff
Job description:
Managing and delivering an efficient and effective logistics service across all programs and field sites for the emergency response programs in SOUTH Aweil - Yei &NORTH SUDAN offices specially Darfur Emergency Programs included: Food and non-food item (NFI) distribution, Water and Sanitation projects food security – latrine construction and hygiene promotion, Transitional shelter construction, Agricultural and Livelihood project peace building program and education program for construction of complete schools
Duties
Procurement, Stock Management and Supplies
• Responsible for purchasing of all logistics supplies for the KHT base and( 4 ) field offices projects in the surrounding areas in line with supply guidelines
Asset and Fleet management:
• Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of premises which included a two store office and large guesthouse and maintenance of all office equipment including IT and communications equipment.
• Managing the use and maintenance of all vehicles and generators and regular follow up of fuel consumption.
• Management of all national staff (22in total) in Khartoum office and South Sudan & Darfur filed offices including training ,contracts, day to day management, rosters, evaluations, discipline.etc

I started as Consultant in Umcor ING0 March 2009, and then I have been employed as the Logistics & Procurement Officer with them since March/2010 up to 30/07/2012, then with GOAL Ireland as Procurement Manager from Aug 1st, 2012 up to November 3rd, 2013. Successfully handled all the process of procurement for head office and field offices.
