 Reporting to project manager, duties & responsibilities covered all aspects of construction management including contractor management, construction scheduling & reporting, recruitment, site cost control, site HSE policies & procedures, quality control and chairing contractor meetings.
 Definition of construction scope of work, and support for contractor evaluation/selection and construction contracts.
 Construction site utilities planning / layout
 Planning and execution of process tie-ins to existing facilities
 Liaison with commissioning manager / team for provision of labour for all pre-commissioning / commissioning activities

 Provide specialist advise on procedures for upgrading LNG cold box equipment and internals (life extension)
 Facilitate planning for LNG plant shutdown, including design & scope/contract definition requirements and selection of suitable contractors
 Construction advice during installation of new 60tpd ASU plant, including QA/QC requirements, design of storage area facilities and overview of civil & mechanical contractors

 Installation of new 52tpd ASU plant for Southern Industrial Gases, Cebu.
Project value ~ Euro €13m
All aspects of project management, including planning, cost control, consultant/contractor selection to execute the design & Installation works, liaising with Linde Engineering as the core plant supplier from Europe.
Reporting to Linde Gas Philippines management (commercialisation) team.
Pre-commissioning of the plant, & handover to operations team.

I am currently seeking work (contract basis?), in the construction management/supervision field, having worked as a construction manager for Cryogenic Air Separation & other on shore ‘process plants’ for the last 10 years, & in the industry since 1978, with BOC/Linde.

I am a UK national, currently based in the Philippines, & am available for any suitable positions, having worked on a world wide basis, for the last 17 years, including SE Asia.
