Wireline Foreman – Schlumberger / Chevron Malongo (Angola) 2014
• Responsible for the handling& shipping of all equipment within the Malongo base to and from offshore. In addition my roles included lifting supervisor; engaging with local certification companies, ensuring all equipment new and current were certified as per Chevron and SLB lifting standards and track all offshore equipment certifications. This involved managing the Chevron logistic process and local contact point for all hazmat, explosive and DGD goods.
• Manage crew movements to and from offshore ensuring the right proficiency levels were applied to the appropriate operations.
• Crew development, training and appraisal process – hold daily safety meeting and monthly training sessions to educate junior operators on safety, JSA, permit to work and operational maintenance practices.
• Maintenance supports – receive all equipment from offshore and ensure maintenance process completed and equipment ready for the next operation in a timely manner.
• Support construction and development of a new base – I had a direct input on yard layout, equipment storage and allocation
