Responsibilities: Checking of mechanical discipline in different phases of engineering for LNG Projects: Conceptual engineering, basic engineering, detailed engineering, procurement support and Quality Assurance (QA).
Other Activities:

Application of International, National Codes and PDVSA Norms, and the Best Practices of Engineering and Quality for the best results of the activities associated to the Project.
Supervision of mechanical workteam.
Progress Control of the Mechanical discipline.
Reading and interpretation of mechanical, process, civil, electrical, and instrumentation drawings.
Knowledge about the mechanical design and selection of materials and equipments: valves, pumps, static recipients.
Elaboration of Technical Reports.
Technical Support to other disciplines of the project such as: Process, Civil, Instrumentation and Control, Electricity, General and Procurement of Equipment and Materials.
Quality Assurance of equipment fabrication: valves, pumps, heat exchangers, traps for delivering and reception of instrumented tools in pipelines, etc.
